Kit contents
- Tubes of etching fluid and
spatulas (each tube and spatulas can etch 10 numbers),
- Engraving stencils numbered TAG xxxxx,
- Personalised stickers with the same number as a barcode.
Before application
- Shake the etching fluid tube thoroughly before use. ®
- Choose a flat, visible surface. Mobilis recommends the casing of the keyboard
or back of the monitor,
- Position the tattoo in the same place on similar items of hardware so that
the marking is uniform.,
- Have a cloth handy to wipe any residue off the spatula between marking different
items.
Recommendations
- Each self-adhesive stencil can only be used once,®
- Each tube of etching fluid can be used to tattoo 10 items of hardware,
- To avoid using a sticker with the wrong tattoo, Mobilis recommends applying
the ID numbers no more than 10 at a time, applying the stencils and stickers
in strict order for each strip.
- The etching fluid dries very quickly. After opening the tube, apply immediately
to the stencil and close the tube after use,
- NB: the etching fluid is highly corrosive. It must not be swallowed, inhaled
or come in contact with the skin or eyes.
- Apply the ID Tag® tattoo
to a clean flat surface.
